The Brooks Launch is sort of a “cult hit” that’s gained popularity over time. It’s a lighter, speedier model than their other trainers and can be hard to find in Big Box retailers, despite its $100 price tag. While we weren’t crazy about the Launch 4, the 6 has updated the midsole and is a major improvement.
The sole is surprisingly soft for an uptempo shoe, but not overly so. It never feels mushy, but responsive and protective. There isn’t really much to say, other than “it’s good”?

The upper is similar, being unobtrusive and barely noticeable. One knock against the shoe is that it doesn’t have the widest toebox. It should fit 95% of feet with no problem, but if you love space, you might find it a little pointy.
The Brooks Launch 6 is the best kind of shoe: light, adaptable, and hardly noticeable.
